      TEACHING METHODS

      • All

The forest school implements a versatile curriculum, which is taught with modern teaching methods, a combination of modern educational teaching methods is used (which is chosen by the teacher depending on the dynamics of the group) such as:

PLAGNIODIS WAY OF TEACHING The game is the medium that offers children the opportunity to explore the surrounding area, to experiment, to discover problems and to try to solve them, to use their curiosity and creativity, to make choices and to implement of their own ideas in their own way and rhythm.

GROUP LEARNING LEARNING It is the method that promotes cooperation, self-action, the original way of thinking, knowledge, emotions, and children's action. Collaborative teaching benefits in many ways: it gives all children the opportunity to participate actively, it cultivates friendships and mutual trust between members. It helps to externalize emotions. It helps in self-expression and autonomy.

INTERNATIONAL APPROACH The interdisciplinary approach to knowledge is an organized, planned learning experience, which gives children the opportunity for a unified knowledge related to a specific topic. Thematic approaches are the research of topics chosen by the teacher, which pre-designs their course and determines their duration. The emphasis here is on the teacher's learning aspirations. Most importantly, the interdisciplinary approach reflects a perception of learning, in which children are actively involved in the learning process.

PROJECT METHOD Workflows - Projects are explorations of issues that arise from the children themselves, which determine the process of planning, organizing and implementing the topic, in the context of discussions that develop with the support and encouragement of the teacher. The objectives of the work plans are derived from the ideas and questions of the children who turn into actions, the duration of which is directly related to maintaining the interest of the children. The Project method is an open learning process and can be the main axis of children's learning experience, as it gives meaning to school knowledge and makes it interesting and easier to understand.

INDUSTRIAL LEARNING Experiential learning is based on the child-centered learning model, which places the child at the center of the educational process giving him the opportunity to develop through play, communication, collaboration and skills, social, mental, sensory, motor and speech. The experiential method seeks the active participation of children in learning, considering the emotional reactions, questions and questions of children who are freely discussed in the classroom important.
